PARTICIPATED IN THE 2009 SMITH LAKE CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our panel of three judges had a very difficult task trying to pick the winner for the BEST DECORATED VESSEL.
There were at least twenty beautiful boats, but we could only have one winner.
The BEST BOAT PRIZE of one night's stay at GRADY'S BED AND BREAKFAST
and a FRAMED CERTIFICATE was awarded to DONALD AND VANESSA ESTES
of S & S Foods. Beautiful pontoon, Donald!:
We drew names from those that were in the parade for the remaining donated
prizes. The prizes and winners are:
1) One night's stay at SMITH LAKE BED AND BREAKFAST goes to JOE
QUATTLEBAUM.
2) Two free dinners at STONY LONESOME CAFE goes to JAMES and DEBBIE
MCMILLAN.
3) Another pair of free dinners at STONY LONESOME CAFE goes to KEVIN
ALLRED.
4) Twenty-five dollars ($25) off service, parts etc at REGAL MARINE goes to
SHANE WILSON.
5) A beautiful table lamp from INLINE ELECTRIC SUPPLY CO goes to LYNN
LAYTON.
Congratulations to all of the winners. A great big thank-you goes to the
businesses that donated the nice prizes.
